Ordering + Customization
How do I order a custom decal?
Choose the decal product you want, select the available options, and enter your custom details exactly as you want them produced. Double-check spelling, race numbers, colors, bike information, and any other personalization before submitting your order.
What information should I include with my custom order?
Include your correct bike year, make, and model when fitment matters, plus the exact name, number, color, or design direction requested on the product page. Clear information helps us keep your order moving.
Can I change my order after I place it?
Email Blurr.support@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number and the exact change. We will do our best to help, but changes may not be possible once production or fulfillment has started.
I entered the wrong name, number, or bike information. What now?
Contact us immediately and include your order number, the incorrect information, and the corrected information. The sooner we hear from you, the better chance we have of updating it before production.
Will I receive a design proof before my order is made?
Proof availability can depend on the product and customization. If you need to review artwork before production, add a clear note to your order and email support immediately after checkout. Do not assume a proof is included unless the product page says so.
Can you use my logo or sponsor artwork?
In many cases, yes. Send the cleanest file available—vector artwork such as SVG, AI, EPS, or PDF is best. A high-resolution transparent PNG may also work. Only submit logos and artwork you have permission to use.
Can you match a specific color?
We can work toward a requested color, but screens display color differently and printed vinyl may not match what you see on a phone or monitor exactly. Metallic, chrome, fluorescent, and specialty finishes can also shift depending on lighting and viewing angle.
How do I know a decal will fit my bike?
Read the product title and description carefully and confirm the listed year, make, model, and placement. If you are unsure, email us before ordering with a photo of your bike and its exact model details.
BUILT TO RIDE
Product + Material
Is the quality even good?
Yes. We use premium weatherproof vinyl that is UV resistant, scratch resistant, and made to handle real riding conditions—mud, rain, sun, washing, and regular abuse. Blurr Moto decals are built to stay looking clean for the long haul when installed correctly.
Are Blurr Moto decals waterproof?
Our weatherproof vinyl is designed for outdoor use and normal exposure to rain, mud, and washing. Proper surface preparation and firm edge adhesion are important for the best water resistance.
Are the decals UV and scratch resistant?
Yes. The material is selected to resist sunlight and everyday abrasion. No decal is indestructible, so repeated boot rub, crashes, sharp tools, harsh chemicals, and close-range pressure washing can still cause wear.
How long will my decals last?
Lifespan depends on surface preparation, installation, riding conditions, storage, sun exposure, washing, and abrasion. A clean installation on a smooth surface will always perform better than one applied over dirt, wax, oil, texture, or damaged plastic.
Do all decals have chrome or metallic details?
Only products described or shown with a chrome, metallic, holographic, or specialty finish include that effect. Check the product photos, selected options, and description before ordering.
Can I reuse a decal after removing it?
No. Our decals are intended for a one-time installation. Removing one can stretch the vinyl, weaken the adhesive, or change the shape, so it should not be expected to reinstall correctly.
What surfaces will the vinyl stick to?
Vinyl performs best on clean, smooth, dry, non-porous surfaces. It may not bond well to heavily textured plastic, oily surfaces, silicone, waxed areas, damaged paint, or low-energy plastics without proper prep.
MAKE IT STICK
Installation + Care
How should I prep the surface?
- Wash away mud, dust, grease, and old adhesive.
- Dry the surface completely.
- Use isopropyl alcohol to remove remaining oil or residue.
- Avoid wax, tire shine, silicone, or oily cleaners before install.
- Apply only after the surface returns to a normal, dry temperature.
What is the best way to install a decal?
Test-position the decal before removing the backing. Start from one side or the center and work outward slowly using a clean squeegee or wrapped card. Use firm, even pressure, especially around edges, contours, and recessed areas. Do not rush the alignment.
Should I install the decal wet or dry?
Unless the product instructions specifically say otherwise, use a dry installation. Water or soap underneath pressure-sensitive vinyl can slow adhesion and create edge problems, especially on smaller cut decals.
How do I prevent bubbles and wrinkles?
Work slowly, keep light tension on the vinyl, and press from the center toward the outside. Do not lay the entire decal down at once. Small air pockets can often be pushed toward the nearest edge before the adhesive fully sets.
Can I use heat during installation?
Gentle heat can help vinyl conform around curves, but too much heat can stretch, distort, or damage it. Use a heat gun or hair dryer cautiously, keep it moving, and never concentrate heat in one spot.
Can I install decals in cold weather?
Cold vinyl and cold plastics make installation harder and can reduce initial adhesion. Install indoors in a clean, dry, comfortably warm space whenever possible, and let the bike and decal reach room temperature first.
How long should I wait before washing or riding?
For best results, give the adhesive at least 24 hours to set before washing the bike, exposing the decal to heavy mud, or putting it through aggressive riding conditions.
Can I pressure wash over the decals?
Use caution. Keep the nozzle at a reasonable distance and avoid aiming high pressure directly at decal edges. Close-range pressure can lift corners or force water underneath the vinyl.
How do I remove an old decal?
Warm the decal gently, peel it back slowly at a low angle, and remove leftover adhesive with a surface-safe cleaner. Test any chemical in a hidden area first, especially on painted or specialty-finish parts.
ON THE MOVE
Processing + Shipping
How long will it take for my order to ship?
All orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday and do not include weekends or major holidays. Once your order ships, tracking is emailed to you.
How do I track my order?
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your package leaves us. Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders if you do not see it in your main inbox.
Why has my tracking not updated yet?
Carriers sometimes need time to scan a package after the shipping label is created. Tracking may also pause between facilities. If it has not updated for several business days, email support with your order number so we can review it.
I entered the wrong shipping address. Can it be fixed?
Email us immediately with your order number and complete corrected address. We can only update it before fulfillment. Once a package is in carrier possession, changes may be limited or unavailable.
My package says delivered, but I cannot find it. What should I do?
Check around the delivery area, mailbox, garage, household members, neighbors, and any safe location used by the carrier. Carriers sometimes mark packages delivered shortly before final drop-off. If it still does not appear, contact the carrier and then email us with your order number.
WE’LL MAKE IT RIGHT
Support + Order Issues
Where can I contact you guys?
Email us at Blurr.support@gmail.com. We typically respond within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
What should I include in a support email?
Include your full name, order number, the email used at checkout, and a clear description of the issue. Photos of the product, packaging, bike, or installation area are extremely helpful when relevant.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. Keep all original packaging until the issue is reviewed. We will look into what happened and explain the next step.
What if I ordered the wrong item or fitment?
Email support before installing or altering the item. Include your order number and the exact year, make, and model of the bike. Eligibility for a return or exchange depends on the item, its condition, and whether it was customized.
Can custom or personalized items be returned?
Because personalized products are made specifically for the information submitted with the order, return options may be limited. Contact support before sending anything back. We will review the situation and explain any available options.
Do you offer bulk, team, shop, or event orders?
Reach out to Blurr.support@gmail.com with the product, quantity, deadline, artwork, and customization details. We can review the project and let you know what is possible.
